Winners will be announced after the judges have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the nominees during NetWorld+Interop 2002 Las Vegas to further examine the products and technologies on a point-by-point basis. The award ceremony will be held at NetWorld+Interop 2002 Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 7 at 5:00 pm. in the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition to the eleven category winners, there will be two special awards for Grand Prize Winner and Best Startup Product. An additional eligibility criterion for the Best Startup Product category is that the vendor must have existed as an independent company for two years or less. The judges will determine the overall Grand Prize Winner from the pool of winners for each category.
