About Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS)

Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) is an initiative dedicated to honoring former military personnel and employees currently in the National Guard and Reserve by facilitating career and business opportunities in the financial services industry.  Through a combination of educational initiatives, mentoring, outreach to the military, employee affinity groups, and an annual conference, VOWS promotes career development, support, and retention of veterans both at Deutsche Bank and throughout the global financial services industry.  Central to the VOWS mission is the recognition that many of the skills veterans developed in the military–leadership, fast and accurate decision–making, operational focus, and the drive to accomplish a mission–have a direct application on Wall Street. VOWS also recognizes that the cultural values our veterans have developed in the military—passion, drive, commitment, and teamwork—mesh with the corporate values sought after and practiced in the financial services industry at institutions such as Deutsche Bank. VOWS works with military organizations, veterans groups, industry associations, vendors, and Deutsche Bank's top leadership to build awareness and understanding of how these skills and cultural attributes make military veterans outstanding employees.

About UBM Studios Milicruit

UBM Studios Milicruit.com is a job fair for veterans/military personnel to come together in an interactive 3D virtual setting.  Each year 350,000 veterans leave active duty and many of them enter the civilian job market, Milicruit.com aids them in their search by providing a virtual career fair that brings veterans and employers together.  Veterans have the opportunity to register for virtual career fairs by building a profile and employers are able to fully interact with the individuals.  The career fairs offer virtual booths; job postings; company videos; company presentations; live chat with company representatives; video interviewing; and resume and interview assistance.  The traditional recruiting environment of veterans is costly, time-consuming and often times ineffective. Given the large number of veterans currently looking to reenter civilian life and the large number of employers seeking to hire veterans, milicruit.com allows both parties to meet and interact in an online setting.  For additional information on Milicruit, visit www.milicruit.com.
