SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM TechWeb announced Ed Grossman will join the company as Executive Vice President of the InformationWeek Business Technology Network, formally eliminating the traditional "publisher" role, and further fueling its digital, technology applications and network portfolio build out.

Grossman joins the organization from sister company UBM Medica, where he also served as Executive Vice President, leading all digital media efforts.  Grossman will now take on the responsibility of defining and leading the InformationWeek Business Technology Network portfolio of brands, productizing its user and client offerings, and spearheading the web technology, media applications and decision support tools leading the business' exponential growth.
