UBM Studios Hires New Talent to Deliver Next-Generation Business Solutions, Adds Key Project Management, Creative, Marketing and Technology Expertise

According to a survey by the Center for Exhibition Research and George P. Johnson, 40 percent of corporate brand marketers and 31 percent of exhibition management executives reported using virtual media; 71 percent of respondents used virtual media to accommodate geographically widespread workforces and customers.

Larry Stein has joined UBM Studios as the Virtual Business Solutions Project Director.  In this newly created position, Stein is responsible for technical expertise related to project management and producing digital media solutions.  With more than 20 years of project management, systems integration, training, process improvement and implementation expertise, Stein is an award winning innovator of end to end solutions.  Prior to UBM Studios, Stein was Senior Principal Systems Engineer of WMS Gaming, Inc., a manufacturer of casino slot machines and video lottery terminals, where he worked with customers to implement new product features and installations and improved the communication of product requirements.  Stein will report to Michelle McPhail, Director of Product Development, UBM Studios.

Max Gerstein joins UBM Studios as Project Manager where he will be responsible for the technical project management to produce digital media assets.  Gerstein joins UBM Studios from Quicksilver where he led projects involving interactive media, e-learning, internet solutions, video and animations.  Gerstein will report to McPhail.

Krysten Bedore has joined UBM Studios as Marketing Production Coordinator.  Bedore is responsible for event production, social media initiatives as well as sales and marketing collateral.  Previously, Bedore was employed at PuriCore where she managed sales and marketing projects.  Bedore will report to McPhail.
