Apr 8, 2010

SAN FRANCISCO, April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- EE Times Group, a UBM company and the daily source of essential business and technical information for the electronics industry's decision makers, today unveiled the content areas to be delivered at the ARM Technology Conference. As the premier event to connect, instruct, advise and enable the world of electronic and computer design, the technical conference will be divided into two distinct elements.  The ARM Technology Conference will offer targeted content and exhibits to both ARM silicon partners and ARM-based system developers.  The annual conference is scheduled to take place November 9-11, 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

Day One will focus on the needs of ARM silicon partners, as the topics will revolve around ARM-based chip design and the software tools that enable such design.

Days two and three of the conference will be geared towards systems designers and developers, those interested in building ARM-based modules, boards, and systems. It will cover all of the hardware, software, tools, testing, etc., ranging from low-power design, wireless and consumer electronics, to deeply embedded systems.

"As the world's leading semiconductor IP company, with one of the largest and strongest ecosystems in the electronics industry, we are very excited to partner with EE Times Group to present the official ARM Technology Conference to partners and developers," said Kevin Smith, Vice President of Segment Marketing, ARM.  "To provide attendees and exhibitors with the most value from conference sessions and exhibits, we have divided the conference into two focused areas. The first targeting silicon partners and chip designers, and the second focusing on the needs of system developers engaged in module, board and system design.  We believe both groups will receive the most benefit from content and expos targeted specifically at their disciplines."

"With over 17 billion ARM based chips shipped to date and their Connected Community ecosystem exceeding 750 companies, ARM technology has expanded well beyond mobile and now is at the heart of  new markets such as networking, printers, storage and digital TV," said David Blaza, Vice President, Events of EE Times Group.  "As a global leader in media, events and marketing services for the electronics industry we are excited to leverage our strategic event management, content expertise as well as a deep targeted audience reach to deliver an extraordinary event."
