The Women of the Channel Winter Workshop was created to bring women in the high tech industry together to collaborate, educate and inspire. Dedicated to professional and personal growth for women, attendees will walk away from the event with the knowledge and motivation to solve their current challenges and take the next step towards their goals.

The Women of the Channel Winter Workshop agenda includes a line-up of powerful speakers:

  -- Opening Address: "Women Leaders Matter!" presented by Janet Schijns,
      Vice President, Global Channels, Motorola;
  -- The Women of the Channel Executive Panel which will be moderated by
      Jenn Bosavage, Editor, Everything Channel;
  -- A luncheon featuring Best Selling Author, Connie Glaser who will
      discuss "GenderTalkWorks-Seven Steps to Cracking the Gender Code at
      Swimming with the Dolphins"; and
  -- Empowerment Workshop presented by Kimberly Douglas the author of the
      "Firefly Effect."

"The Women of the Channel session which took place at our XChange '09 conference this summer addressed the key issues that women face in the workforce. It was such a success that we decided to launch a workshop that would empower women to invest in themselves and their success in business. The Women of the Channel Winter Workshop provides comprehensive education and insight into the working woman's world. Additionally, through our Channel@Work program, attendees will also be supporting SafeHorizon, a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities, by donating toys for the holiday season. We look forward to a fantastic event," said Nancy Hammervik, SVP/Managing Director, Everything Channel Events.
