"Our research shows that VARBusiness Magazine's strategy and business content continues to be a very important resource for the Solution Provider community. However, technology vendors are investing their marketing resources in very targeted fashions and having two print products in a market that can be served by one big brand like CRN no longer make sense," said Robert Faletra, CEO, Everything Channel. "We have taken the editorial power, which will stay intact, behind VARBusiness and we are expanding its reach by infusing its content and research into our portfolio of media, events and research. We will now seamlessly connect the business strategy with the analysis and insight to the evaluation and recommendation of technology solutions through all of our products. We continue to remain committed to the Solution Provider community and will continue to assist them growing their businesses from access to execution."

CRN Magazine is the longest standing channel-focused publication in the world serving the indirect sales channel for the past 30 years. The extended CRN family of products will continue to be the hub of the Everything Channel print brand which includes the core magazine, CRNtech and CRN's international titles. CRN Magazine will expand its editorial mission to deliver Channel analysis, technology insight and management strategy while delivering deeper content derived from face-to-face and virtual events in market segments that are of paramount interest to Everything Channel readers and vendor partners. CRNtech will continue to focus on technical analysis.

The ChannelWeb Network will continue to be deliver breaking news, in-depth analysis, tools, video and NetSeminars on a world-wide basis. It will continue to offer VARBusiness business intelligence and research online. ChannelWeb is the No. 1 online community for solution providers. Its traffic has grown substantially over the past year generating page views of more than 4 million a month.

VARBusiness Magazine, which developed many unique and valuable research and special reports over the past 20 years, will now enhance CRN Magazine's editorial coverage. In the coming months, the State of the Market, State of Technology Reports, VARBusiness 500, Partner Program Guide and Annual Report Card will be published in CRN Magazine and on the ChannelWeb Network.

In addition, Everything Channel has grown and will continue to enhance its editorial content to leverage the following key areas: Consumer/Retail, Midsize Enterprise, Project and Portfolio Management, Healthcare and the Public Sector markets. Analysis of these areas along with editorial coverage of the most pressing issues facing Solution Providers who service these arenas will be covered in CRN Magazine and on the ChannelWeb Network.
