Richard Dagnall Joins TechWeb's Light Reading as Managing Director of Events, Driving Growth of Focused Communications Industry Events

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- TechWeb's Light Reading Communications Network (http://www.lightreading.com/), the leading online media, events, and research company serving the global communications marketplace, today announced that Richard Dagnall has joined as Managing Director of Events. Dagnall will be responsible for driving Light Reading's leading Ethernet Expo shows in New York and London, TelcoTV, Tower Summit, Optical Expo, and 12 focused, one-day conferences with pre-qualified attendees on subjects ranging from mobile backhaul to advanced cable video strategies. Dagnall will report to Joseph Braue, Group Director and SVP of Light Reading.

Previously, Dagnall was employed with Richmond Events and then Penton Media, where he organized the LightSpeed conference series on Carrier Ethernet and Triple Play in Western and Eastern Europe. Dagnall served as Co-Chair for Events Marketing and Technical Marketing with the Metro Ethernet Forum and was Chairman for the Marketing Awareness and Education Committee for the Multiservice Forum.
