Everything Channel (formerly CMP Channel) today announced that RetailVision co-founder, Liz Madden, has returned to assume the position of Managing Director, RetailVision Events. Madden, who helped pioneer the hosted event model, will be responsible for the overall management and growth of the domestic, international and virtual RetailVision events.

Nearly 20 years ago, Madden co-created a powerful new way of doing business with the Vision event concept by bringing top resellers and vendors together in a boardroom and private meeting setting. These focused events have continued to expand in popularity as technology has transitioned from resellers to retailers.

"This is an incredible opportunity and the timing couldn't be better. I continue to follow retail closely and there are a number of exciting developments happening worldwide in this market. The ability to leverage the resources that Everything Channel has to offer including content and research and the backing of a parent company with global assets is an unbeatable combination," said Madden.

RetailVision is the premier international event for the retail channel bringing vendors together with top 100 level retailers -- e-tailors and direct marketers across North America, Latin America and Europe. For nearly 20 years, RetailVision has driven business in the consumer channel through private boardroom appointments, category presentations, one-on-ones, industry insight, networking events and other business intensive programs. The RetailVision events are evolving and growing to include "speed dating" meetings, closed door venture backed new technology showings and additional new features including Fresh, a platform for companies to introduce new technologies to key retailers, e-tailers, and direct marketers.

"Liz understands the intricacies of the event business and the retail channel. Her history with these events, innovative ideas on new features, including on-on-one meetings for buyers with suppliers and knowledge of the marketplace will be invaluable as we continue to grow face to face and launch virtual events. We are very fortunate to have her become part of our team and look forward to working with her," said Nancy Hammervik, Vice President, Everything Channel Events.

In addition to Madden's retail event expertise, she has held a variety of positions in sales and marketing. Madden earned a BS degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University.

Upcoming RetailVision events include:

-- RetailVision North America and Latin America, August 25-28, 2008, San Diego, CA

-- RetailVision Middle East, November 3-5, 2008, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

-- Retail Vision eVent, December 2008
-- RetailVision North America, April 27-30, 2009, Boca Raton, FL
  -- RetailVision EMEA May 18-19, 2009, Paris

Madden will be located in Vision Event's New Hampshire office and will report to Nancy Hammervik.
