MANHASSET, N.Y., April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Everything Channel (formerly CMP Channel), the global leader in technology sales, today announced it was honored with two min's Best of the Web awards at the min's Best of the Web Awards Luncheon earlier this week. Everything Channel was recognized for the launch marketing campaign of ChannelWeb.com and its first virtual trade show. The Best of the Web awards, presented by Media Industry Newsletter, min's b2b and min magazine, is the only competition that singularly heralds magazine excellence online.

"It is a great honor to receive these awards -- they signify that our dedication to excellence is recognized by our peers," said Robert Faletra, Chief Executive Officer, Everything Channel. "We are pleased that our commitment to our audience continues to drives innovation and fast growth for the Channel community."

Everything Channel was recognized for creating a comprehensive marketing campaign for the launch of ChannelWeb.com in March 2007 when the CRN and VARBusiness online properties were combined into a single web destination for Solution Providers. With over 1.7 million page impressions per month, the new ChannelWeb.com site provides the most comprehensive Channel content in one place by bringing together news, product reviews and technical primers from CRN with the strategic research and in-depth features of VARBusiness and GovernmentVAR magazines. Solution Providers rely on ChannelWeb.com for news, opinions, tools, research and community interaction that help them run their businesses more successfully. This is the second honor for ChannelWeb.com. Last year the website was named one of the '10 Great Media Web Sites' by BtoB Magazine's Media Business.

Everything Channel also received an award for its first virtual trade show -- Selling to the Mid-Market. The November 2007 event brought together more than 700 Solution Providers from around the country as well as leading technology vendors to demonstrate products. The virtual trade show highlighted how Solution Providers can increase sales in the mid-market.

"We created a superior marketing campaign around the launch of ChannelWeb.com and we continue to innovate by entering and excelling in new media like virtual events. We are thrilled to have been recognized by min's for web excellence," said Chris Sullivan, Vice President, Managing Director ChannelWeb.

Everything Channel continues to strengthen its portfolio with new marketing solutions and business tools to help the IT Channel accelerate sales and grow their businesses. New solutions include domestic and international face-to-face IT events (Vision EventsĀ®); a workflow tool that helps create efficiencies in Request for Proposals (RFPs) and proposal building through configuration technology solutions (eXalt's multi-vendor workflow tool); a promotions tool to manage incentives (MTC Performance's spiff solutions); a business growth and management tool (M&A Forum); and a service that provides real-time product catalog, availability and pricing on demand (VARStreet).
