The XChange Government Integrator conference will bring together more than 100 pre-qualified executive-level solution providers focused on the federal, state, local, education and healthcare markets and the industry's leading channel vendors to meet, network and build relationships.

"The Channel Group is dedicated to the unique dynamics of the government integrator marketplace. We have an outstanding line up of keynote presenters and we're very excited that they will offer insight into the government IT marketplace," said Nancy Hammervik, Vice President, Events, CMP Technology Channel Group. "XChange Government Integrator is a great atmosphere for top vendors to come together with leading government integrators to learn what direction the state, local, federal, education, and healthcare markets are heading."

Takai will highlight the biggest mistakes made by contractors approaching state government and how small businesses can participate on large state contracts.

Jovita Carranza, Deputy Administrator, SBA, will offer best practices for small businesses trying to win federal opportunities and large integrators seeking qualified small businesses as partners. Carranza will highlight key contracts set aside for the small business community, review the specific IT skill sets required and outline how solution providers can best position themselves to win awards. Carranza will also update attendees on the latest enhancements to the federal small business program that promise to benefit qualified solution providers with increased access to contracting dollars.

GovernmentVAR senior editor, Jill Aitoro, will join Lurita Alexis Doan, GSA Administrator at a fireside conversation to discuss the state of the GSA, the changes the agency is making to improve its service and support and offer ideas on how solution providers can better navigate government bureaucracy.

XChange Government Integrator is supported by platinum sponsors: HP, IBM, and Oki Data Systems.

In conjunction with the event, GovernmentVAR will host the third annual GovernmentVAR Awards at a reception where solution providers will be recognized for demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and processes specific to federal, state, and local governments and educations as well as the vendors that consistently provide the programs needed for success in the channel.
