Vance Hitch, CIO of the Department of Justice, the event's keynote speaker, will address the changing IT needs of government agencies, as well as trends in government procurement. Hitch has served as the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Justice since April 2002. He manages the Department's $2.1 billion information technology program, overseeing management, acquisition, and integration of the Department's information resources. His oversight includes strategic planning, policy, capital planning, systems development, telecommunications, information security data management, enterprise architecture, e-government, and user computing. Earlier, Hitch was a Senior Partner with Accenture with 28 years of experience in leading government organizations successfully through major change initiatives.
