Industry's Largest Track and Trace Technology Show Hosts the First IEEE RFID Technical Conference March 26 - 28, 2007

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- CMP Technology and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.) have announced the co-location of IEEE RFID 2007, the country's first engineering technical conference with RFID World Conference & Exhibition, the world's largest technology industry event focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and advanced track and trace technologies, March 26 - 28, 2007 in Dallas.

IEEE RFID 2007 is the first in a series of annual conferences dedicated to the technical and policy challenges in the areas of radio frequency identification technologies, their supporting large-scale distributed information systems and their applications. The IEEE RFID series is an international forum addressing technologies, systems, networks, algorithms and applications that support the development and adoption of RF-based wireless communications and identification systems.

Organizers expect RFID World 2007 to exceed its previous record attendance of 3,500 and 200 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries, including leading suppliers and sponsors ThingMagic, Siemens, Reva Systems, ADT/Tyco, Impinj, Intel, Reltronics Technologies Inc. and BEA Systems Inc.
