MANHASSET, N.Y., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- CMP Technology today announced that Jeff Kamikow has joined the Business Technology Group (BTG) as Eastern Regional Sales Director, InformationWeek. A comprehensive enterprise portfolio, the BTG is known for dominant brands such as InformationWeek, the TechWeb Network and Interop®, and serves the information needs of more than 4 million C-level executives and IT professionals. In his new position, Kamikow will lead the InformationWeek and Optimize eastern regional sales team to drive revenue and increase customer share of market. He will report to Scott Vaughan, Publisher of InformationWeek.

Jeff Kamikow's hire continues to strengthen CMP's BTG experience across all media; Tony Uphoff recently joined as President of the Group, Peter Spande as Vice President, Online Media and John Cox as Vice President Account Development.

Kamikow brings more than 13 years of media sales and sales leadership in print, online and events in both the business-to-business technology and consumer markets to CMP. Previously, Kamikow held sales positions at PC Magazine and Inter@ctive Week and was also national sales director for Field & Stream. He started his career at PC World.
