The Game Group is the producing organization of the world's largest game industry-only event, the Game Developers Conference, as well as the Austin Game Conference and the industry-leading media Game Developer Magazine and Gamasutra.com, among other notable event and media products. "Her deep game industry expertise managing relationships with developers and publishers, developing new business opportunities and overseeing complex scheduling across a multitude of projects, not to mention her intimate knowledge of the Game Developers Conference, made our choice an easy one."

As the leading games industry media group, the CMP Game Group is dedicated to editorial integrity, industry growth, facilitating strategic partnerships, networking, and education. As Group Director, Schoback will oversee the financial management of the Game Group, work with business development to create new products and manage their execution and integration into the existing business.
