MANHASSET, N.Y., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- With the successful conclusion of the XChange '06 Conference, CMP Technology's Channel Group celebrates the success of its largest event this year and embraces the next venture, becoming the global industry leader in face-to-face IT channel events. XChange Conferences offer numerous opportunities for technology vendors, distributors and solution providers to meet, develop partnerships and conduct business.

The XChange '06 Conference, held Aug. 13-16 at the Renaissance Grand Marriott in St. Louis, MO., drew over 100 unique technology vendors and generated 230 private appointments. The debut event, held in 1995, attracted 40 vendors who had 100 appointments with solution providers.

2006 marks a turning point for the XChange Conference group as it expands its global reach with events for Channel partners in Latin America as well as Western Europe.

XChange Western Europe will take place in Barcelona, Spain, November 6-8 at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos. In 2007, XChange Conferences additionally plans to host events in both Eastern Europe and China.
