CMP Media's XChange Conferences today announced a multi-city seminar series that will bring service enabling vendors together with managed services providers, VARs, systems integrators and resellers through XChange Managed Services conferences. This forum will examine the dynamics of managed services and its effect on business strategies and competitive landscapes for both IT vendors and Solution Providers.

The mission for XChange Managed Services is to educate the channel on the opportunities to market and sell managed services most effectively. Each city will host a full day session with vendor presentations, industry panels, keynote and editorial addresses as well as a networking reception and product exhibits. Attendees will gain extensive knowledge of this emerging market and get hands on product experience.

The seminar series will travel to Atlanta, Georgia on June 15; Dallas, Texas on June 20; and Long Beach, California on June 22.

"2006 is emerging as an inflexion point in Managed Services", said Toni Clayton-Hine, Managing Director of CMP's IPED. "IT vendors and solution providers throughout the country are trying to get their hands around this new opportunity. This is the perfect time to take our Managed Services study results on the road, directly to those who are driving this insurgence, giving them hands-on knowledge and one-on-one experience with the vendors and experts who are leading the charge in managed services."

"Combining forces with IPED offers an educational environment that provides resellers across the country with top notch research and resources on managed services opportunities in today's marketplace," added Nancy Hammervik, vice president of XChange Conferences. "These full day sessions allow the channel to learn tactics for maximizing the margins and profits of a managed services business and a look at the technologies available today and in the future."

The XChange Managed Services Seminar series is complimentary to pre- registered managed services providers and IT solution providers however, space is limited. On site registration will also be available for a nominal fee. For additional information on the seminar series or to reserve a seat, visit http://www.cmpxchange.com/XMSPR
