CMP Media Inc.'s Telepath (http://telepath.cmp.com/), a CommunicationsWeek publication, has boosted its circulation 21 percent to 50,000 beginning with its January 6 issue. The bi-monthly publication has also doubled its frequency to monthly and will now carry a new tagline -- The Telecommunications Newsmagazine.

Telepath was launched last year as a demographic supplement to CommunicationsWeek with a circulation of about 40,000 readers. While those individuals will continue to receive Telepath, 10,000 more readers who do not currently receive CommunicationsWeek have been added to bring the total circulation to 50,000.

"The service provider market is widening. Not only does it encompass Internet service providers but also wireless carriers and others. Telepath's increased frequency and new tagline reflect that we are 100 percent dedicated to delivering only the information that meets the high demands of this new, yet burgeoning, market," said Chris Roeckl, Executive Editor, Telepath.

For the new year, Telepath will also debut a new look that includes a new banner logo. Telepath's Web site, accessible from CommunicationsWeek Interactive (http://www.commweek.com/), has also been redesigned to make the interface more intuitive for readers.

Telepath is published by CommunicationsWeek, the leading newspaper serving the information needs of Network IT Management. The newspaper delivers news and analysis that helps IS, network and corporate management translate evolving advances in communications and computing technology directly into business advantage. In addition, the newspaper features Web Commerce, a biweekly section that provides in-depth features and analysis of electronic commerce products, technologies and case studies.
