CMP Media's eeProductCenter (www.eeproductcenter.com), a comprehensive online resource of new product information and reviews of the latest integrated circuits and electronics components, announces that Agilent Technologies' 16900 Series Logic Analyzers was the overall winner of its first annual Reader's Choice Awards contest. Analog Devices' new ARM-based microcontroller family of devices captured the second most votes and Wind River Systems' real-time operating system, VxWorks 6.0 was third.

"The visitors of eeProductCenter have spoken with their mouse. In an extremely close competition, these three products made a significant impact on our audience," says Stephan Ohr, eeProductCenter editorial director. "Our editorial team had a difficult time selecting the twelve finalists, congratulations to them all."

"We're delighted to learn that Agilent's new 16900 Series modular logic analysis system has been voted eeProductCenter's Reader's Choice Award winner," said Ron Nersesian, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Design Validation Division. "Agilent remains committed to providing R&D engineers with the performance, value and probing innovations they need to meet the logic analyzer measurement demands of today's digital designs, and we very much appreciate that this award recognizes our continued leadership and innovation."

eeProductCenter's Reader's Choice Awards contest was held March 29 - April 2, where engineers, technical managers and other electronics professionals voted the best new products on display at electronicaUSA with the Embedded Systems Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Votes were accepted at the conference and online at www.eeProductCenter.com.

Jim Anderson of Rowe International was selected at random as the reader voter winner of a Giant OCR1 racing bike. Anderson is a systems design engineer with 25 years professional experience designing software, firmware, chipware, and hardware for embedded micro-controllers and microprocessors. "At my desk eeProductCenter is the start page for my web browser, I use it daily to keep up to date on industry trends and new products," says Anderson.

Product Awards and the Reader Grand Prize winner will be announced in the April 19 issue of EE Times and online at eeProductCenter.com the same day.
