Understanding Digital Services to the Home: Movies, music, and gaming are all being pushed down the Internet pipe to consumers. This session will provide an overview of these services and analyze the drivers, inhibitors, and prospects for adoption as well as how these services will impact demand for hardware devices and broadband access. Digital Ecosystems and Content Platforms in the Home: Digital media exists within an electronic "ecosystem" that is comprised of computers, home networks, TVs, stereos, portable players, and other hardware devices -- devices drawn from three major industry segments: computing, consumer electronics, and communications. This session will examine the current state and projected growth in the environment for digital media and will delve into digital rights management, standards, and other issues impacting growth.
