On June 13-15, 2005, 1000 information security professionals from around the world will gather in Scottsdale, Arizona to learn strategies for combating the many dangers that threaten the crucial information on their networks. Celebrating its 15th year, CSI NetSec '05: The Fine Art of Information Security will address wireless, network attacks and countermeasures, remote access, intrusion prevention, forensics, privacy, compliance, awareness and management issues, and much more.

"The CSI NetSec conference is the largest, most established conference in the industry exclusively devoted to network security," states Chris Keating, Director of CSI. "To celebrate 15 years, we are holding CSI NetSec '05 in Scottsdale at The Phoenician, renowned for its spectacular retreat-like setting, world-class accommodations and spa -- the perfect venue for security professionals to focus on the solutions to their everyday security challenges and rejuvenate their security programs. The program will be the strongest yet, with ten tracks ranging from introductory to advanced technical, focusing on the latest strategies for keeping information on networked systems secure."

Held in conjunction with the conference, the CSI NetSec '05 Exhibition will be held June 13-14. This year, CSI NetSec is evolving to a pedestal-style event. "The cost and work involved in shipping and managing a booth is quite extensive", explains Julie Hogan, Director of Events for CSI. "The pedestal format keeps exhibitor costs down, levels the playing field, and distinguishes CSI NetSec from our expo-style event in November." Over 90 security vendors will display a wide variety of products and services in the areas of firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention/detection, authentication, single sign-on, network security management and remote access.
