CMP Media's Gama Network will spotlight game development industry leaders as keynote speakers at its 17th annual Game Developers Conference (GDC), March 4 - 8, 2003, San Jose, Calif. The GDC is the world's largest event exclusively devoted to game development, featuring more than 300 lectures, panels, tutorials and roundtable discussions across seven content tracks. Keynote speakers are:

-- Game Design track: Warren Spector, founder, ION Storm, a 20-year
veteran of game design and production and board member of the
International Game Developers Association. His recent works include
"Deus Ex: The Conspiracy" and "Deus Ex 2: Invisible War."
-- Production track: Bruce McMillan, executive vice president, EA
Worldwide Studios, whose list of game franchises, including the world's
all time best-selling sports franchise, "FIFA Soccer," has won
international acclaim and generated billions in revenue.
-- Audio track: Dane Davis, founder, DaneTracks, an Academy Award winner,
whose sound design and sound editing work is featured in various films,
including "8 Mile," "The Matrix," and "Treasure Planet."

-- Business and Legal track: Tack Jin Kim, CEO, NCSoft, whose company is
the publisher of the world's top subscription-based online game,
"Lineage." Kim's leadership has helped establish Korea's growing clout

-- Visual Arts track: Bill Kroyer, senior animation director, Rhythm
& Hues Studios, Academy Award nominee and one of the first animators to
make the leap to computer animation with the feature film "Tron."
