CMP Media's CRN, vital information for VARs and technology integrators, today announced that the newsweekly won six awards in the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) 26th annual Awards of Excellence program. The ASBPE is the professional association for full-time and freelance editors and writers employed in the business, trade, and specialty press. The awards honor the hard work and commitment to excellence by trade publication editors and graphic designers.

The ASBPE national awards were revealed at a ceremony held at the society's national conference in Philadelphia on June 24. CRN received three awards in total -- two gold awards and one bronze award in the 80,000-or-more circulation category.
