CMP Media's Community Connection Supports Nonprofit Organizations Nationwide

CMP Media (http://www.cmp.com/), a marketing solutions company serving the technology, healthcare and lifestyles industries, today announced that Community Connection, its employee-driven nonprofit foundation, is increasing its annual funding to nonprofits in local communities nationwide by $125,000 this year. The special contribution was made possible by CMP Media's parent company, United Business Media (http://www.unitedbusinessmedia.com/).

Community Connection also coordinates employee volunteer time and provides project materials for nonprofit efforts. In conjunction with the Community Connection announcements, the company is also hosting "Celebrate CMP," a day to recognize and thank employees for their creative and innovative contributions.

For more than 15 years, Community Connection has assisted hundreds of nonprofits nationwide. Community Connection coordinates projects for each corporate office, guided by employee interests and nonprofit needs, and provides volunteer and project support, volunteer release time and matching contributions. Community Connection Foundation annually supports nonprofit organizations in California, Connecticut, Kansas, Massachusetts and New York. The Foundation will begin to establish relationships with nonprofit organizations selected by new CMP offices in Princeton, New Jersey; Annapolis, Maryland; Bedford, Massachusetts and New York, New York.
