ISD Magazine, a technical resource for semiconductor technology designers, announced key editorial management promotions as part of a broad-based restructuring of the publication.

Leading off the changes, Ron Wilson will serve as editorial director, overseeing the magazine's development as the electronics industry's trusted source of information on the semiconductor design process and methodology. In addition to a deep knowledge of the industry gained as an engineer and business manager for several Fortune 500 and start-up companies, Wilson has held numerous senior editorial positions with EE Times and Computer Design Magazine.

Nicolas Mokhoff has been named editor and will focus on day-to-day management of the publication's content. A veteran of the electronics industry with more than twenty years of editorial experience, Mokhoff formerly served as executive producer of CMP Media's EDTN and has also held technical editorial positions at EE Times, IEEE Spectrum, Computer Design, and Electronics Design.

"Nicolas brings not only an extensive knowledge of design methodology and semiconductor technologies, but an editorial aggressiveness well-suited to this ever-changing environment. Under his leadership, the new ISD team will strengthen the publication and provide valuable resources to designers," said Ron Wilson, editorial director.

Under the restructuring, ISD veteran Anne Marie St. John-Brooks will lead the sales effort, reporting to Pete Waddell who was recently named publishing director of ISD. Waddell also manages business development for CMP's PC FAB, Printed Circuit Design and the PCB Design Conferences. Waddell has more than 25 years experience in the electronic industry as both engineer and journalist.

Electronics Group President Steve Weitzner said, "ISD holds a special place within the design community and the semiconductor design tools market. This reorganization focuses our best resources on developing the publication to keep pace with its core audience's needs."
