Web Privacy & Security Pioneer, Phillip Zimmermann, Founder of Pretty Good Privacy, to Keynote at WEBDC

The CMP Media Internet Technologies Division wraps up the WEB2000 Regional Conference series at the Ronald Reagan International Center this August. WEBDC, a five-day educational conference and networking opportunity for web development professionals, will take place August 7th - 11th.

Highlights of this year's event include a visionary keynote address from Philip Zimmermann, Founder of Pretty Good Privacy (PGP). Zimmermann, referred to as the "James Bond" of Encryption Technology, will examine the privacy and security issues that plague businesses, consumers and the government in his keynote address, "Global Warnings - Are you protected in Cyberspace?"

The visionary panel will hold a rousing discussion focused on privacy issues that affect all forms of digital communications.

-- An Exhibitor Demo Area to showcase approximately 20 leading national companies such as Adobe, RealNetworks, Nextera Interactive, Media3 Technologies and Interland. Local exhibitors include Downright Software LLC of Gaithersburg, MD and Magnet Interactive of Washington, DC.
