CMP Media's Dr. Dobb's Journal (DDJ.com) and the C/C++ Users Journal (CUJ.com) announced today a significant expansion and reorganization of sales resources. The new sales team will represent both Dr. Dobb's Journal and the C/C++ User's Journal, and provide more extensive services, with an increased emphasis on integrated and custom solutions. The changes create an expanded sales staff with smaller territories, and will result in deeper and more regular communications with vendors who are targeting senior and expert-level Software Developers and Architects.

Will Wise has been named the new Associate Publisher of Dr. Dobb's Journal (DDJ) and C/C++ Users Journal (CUJ). "Will has extensive experience in high- technology magazines, events and web sites," said Michael Goodman, Publisher of DDJ and CUJ. "Will also has expertise in managing and leading teams, and in creating integrated and customized media programs." Mr. Wise had been previously employed as VP of Sales for NetWorld+Interop (a major trade show and conference), and VP of Sales for Beema.com (an e-marketing services company) and for G2Planet (a software provider for event management companies and exhibitors). He has also held publication sales management positions at Ziff Davis, IDG and The New York Times Company.

Goodman also announced that Ron Cordek and Pauline Beall have joined the DDJ/CUJ sales team, as Senior Managers, Media Programs, from the CMP sales organization. Both have impressive backgrounds and will be responsible for a geographical territory and selected key accounts.
