CMP's Enterprise Computing Group to Launch the First Integrated Print/Online Guide to Developing Corporate Intranets

Eight-Week Series Debuts April 15

CMP Media Inc.'s Enterprise Computing Group--InformationWeek, CommunicationsWeek and Network Computing-- this April will launch an ambitious, integrated print and online guide to building a corporate intranet. The eight-week series--The Intranet Construction Site--will be written by experts in the technology and communications industries.

"This is an innovative project--the first of many we will do this year-- that effectively marries the power of print with the unique interactive features of the Web. It presents technology marketers with an opportunity to reach high-volume purchasers who are directly responsible for enterprise-wide intranet product deployment, in both mediums concurrently," said Joyce Matheson, Vice President, Custom Publishing Services.

The Intranet Construction Site (http://intranet-build.com/), updated weekly, will feature comprehensive editorial that guides readers through the complex intranet construction process. Interactive content will include: Ask The Experts, where readers can get answers to their toughest intranet deployment questions; and Tools & Reviews, which will keep users up-to-date on the rapidly changing environment of intranet technology.

Complementing and supporting the site will be four bi-weekly print supplements running simultaneously across CMP's three enterprise titles through NetWorld+Interop in May. The series will be edited by David Strom, a freelance writer and the founding Editor of CMP's Network Computing.

CMP's marketing of the site will include teaser ads to run in the publications. Readers will also be able to sign up for an email newsletter that will inform them about content updates to the site.
