CMP Media's VARBusiness Magazine Names Lawrence Walsh Editor

Award-winning journalist Lawrence M. Walsh has been named editor of VARBusiness Magazine, CMP Media's biweekly magazine that covers the business of technology integration. He succeeds Robert C. DeMarzo, former editorial director who was named publisher in January 2005.

For the past five years, Walsh has served as editor, executive editor and managing editor of Tech Target's Information Security magazine. Under his leadership, Information Security won numerous awards for editorial content and design. In 2004, Walsh earned the American Society of Business Publication Editors' feature writing award for his expose on Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing initiative.
