Network Magazine today announced that it has agreed to support content development and co-market Enterprise Networks 2004. Enterprise Networks 2004 is a unique, year-round educational program -- the first component of which launched online on October 16, 2003 and focused on Strategies for Deploying Integrated Network Security. The face-to-face conference will take place April 26-28, 2004 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA.

The agreement calls for Network Magazine to contribute to content development with Editor-in-Chief Steve Steinke joining the Enterprise Networks 2004 Board of Content Advisors. The board is led by content Chairperson Nick Lippis, CEO of Lippis Enterprises, Inc., a well-known enterprise networking authority.

Network Magazine will also promote Enterprise Networks 2004 to its subscriber database through a series of print advertisements. In addition, through CMP's TechWeb brand, the publication will promote the event via e-mail newsletters and other online advertising. Network Magazine will also host a "Best of Enterprise Networks 2004" award ceremony at the April 2004 conference.

Network Magazine, printed monthly and distributed to over 125,000 qualified network executives, is focused on network infrastructure architecture strategy. "We are excited to have Network Magazine as a partner for the launch of Enterprise Networks 2004," said Nick Lippis. "Their focus on the technical analysis of network architectural solutions is very much in synch with our content goals. Enterprise Networks 2004 is for enterprise network designers, by enterprise network designers and Network Magazine compliments that position extremely well."

"In this recovering business climate, it's more important than ever that industry professionals have the most up-to-date information and access to expertise about the ever-changing technologies enabling today's networks," said Fritz Nelson, Vice President/Group Publisher of Network Magazine and the Network Computing Enterprise Architecture Group. "Our goal is to provide our readers with the tools and information they need to make the best decisions for their organizations. We feel that the Enterprise Networks 2004 conference and online forums are the right platform for Network Magazine to deliver on our editorial mission."

CMP's other industry leading brands, including Information Week, Communications Convergence, and Network Computing will also provide support to the new strategic partnership between Network Magazine and Enterprise Networks 2004.
