CMP Media, Inc. today announced the debut of CRM Demo & Conference 2000 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, CA. The two-day event will highlight technologies and services designed to achieve and maintain a strong relationship between companies and their customers.

"At CRM Demo & Conference, business executives and technical, marketing, sales and customer care managers will discover the strategies and solutions that will make their enterprises more efficient as they deliver better customer service," said Simon Cooper, Executive Director for Events in CMP's Converging Communications Group. "Through a comprehensive conference program, keynote speeches, and hands-on product/services demonstrations, CRM Demo & Conference attendees will sharpen their communications, computing, and processes. They'll leave here with a complete understanding of the latest real-world CRM solutions."

The event will feature hands-on demonstrations of the hottest CRM technologies on the market, such as Web-enabled call centers, workforce management, and sales & field force automation. The unique pedestal display units level the playing field for exhibitors while providing attendees with opportunities to compare and contrast offerings in an intimate, no-hype setting.

A complete two-day educational conference program has been designed to get newcomers (as well as industry veterans) up to speed on the latest CRM developments. Parallel conference tracks provide comprehensive coverage of three key customer relationship management topics: "Management for CRM Executives," "e-CRM for Executives," and "The Intelligent Enterprise Summit." The first two tracks are sponsored and endorsed by Call Center Magazine and the Summit track is sponsored and endorsed by Intelligent Enterprise Magazine. Some of the cutting-edge topics to be discussed include sales force automation, data mining, Web-enabling customer service, and outsourcing e-commerce customer service.

Each day of CRM Demo & Conference 2000 will begin with a keynote address, open to all show attendees free of charge. Thursday's keynote, presented by Dr. Jon Anton of Purdue University's Department of Consumer Sciences, will ask attendees "How Customer-Centric Is Your CRM Contact Center?" On Friday, Valerie Peck of Peppers & Rogers Group, will discuss ways to "Treat Different Customers Differently: Cultivating Individual Customer Relationships."
