Computer Reseller News Announces its Third Annual Industry Hall of Fame; Hosted by Computer Reseller News and The Computer Museum

For the third straight year, computer-industry visionaries are being selected for induction into the third annual Industry Hall of Fame by the editors of CMP Media's Computer Reseller News. The select group, which is endorsed by The Computer Museum, will be honored at an invitation-only ceremony to be held in conjunction with Fall Comdex in Las Vegas.

"These inductees are selected for their dramatic impact on technology and the computer industry," said Robert Faletra, vice president/editorial director of CMP's Channel Group and editor-in-chief of Computer Reseller News. Their contributions will have long-lasting effects not only on the industry but also on the worldwide business community."

The third annual Industry Hall of Fame will be held on Monday, November 15, 1999 at the Hard Rock Hotel. This event will commemorate the IT industry pioneers and their contributions to the technology industry. The premier entertainment for the night's awards ceremony will be Ray Romano, comedian and star of the hit series "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Another special Comdex midweek issue that will focus on the Hall of Fame will be featured on November 14, 1999. The Industry Hall of Fame was created in 1997 to recognize the achievements of computer-industry visionaries.
