CMP Media Inc. announced today the launch of the Mobile Commerce Conference and Expo, a new event that will bring together a wide variety of wireless, IT, communications and E-business solutions providers. The first Mobile Commerce Conference and Expo, will debut at the Financial Technology Expo, October 3-5, 2000, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The second event will be held June 26-28, 2001, in New York City.

The Mobile Commerce Conference and Expo will feature a three-day conference program and exhibits attracting 5,000 qualified strategic IT/IS and senior-level business executives from wireless service providers, retail merchandisers, financial institutions/credit card firms, and emerging e-marketers.
