An Executive Conference is scheduled for October 10 and 11, followed by the Developers Conference and Exhibition on October 12 and 13. Interactive television is changing the worldwide landscape of entertainment, information and commerce, with analysts predicting a $20 billion industry by 2004. Both events are designed as open forums for professionals to discuss strategic issues that affect the developing interactive television industry, including technology, licensing, advertising, privacy and non-linear content creation.

The iMIX Developers Conference will focus on five tracks: Production, Interactive Advertising, Standards, Applications and Technology. Speakers include representatives from Fox Broadcasting, Open TV, dotTV, Microsoft, Liberate, J. Walter Thompson, Cylo, MediaOne, Scientific Atlanta, Respond TV, Worldgate, and Vulcan Programming II (Charter Communications). The iMIX Developers Conference and Expo are open to active iTV professionals and members of the press and analyst communities.

The iMIX Executive Conference is an intimate, intense strategic retreat that will culminate in a "state of the industry" report. Executive Conference keynote addresses will be delivered by Timothy A. Sweeney, vice president of content acquisition -- Interactive Offerings Group, AT&T, and Michael Schwimmer, vice president programming, EchoStar Communications. Proceedings include case studies presented by NBC Enhanced Broadcasting Group, Two Way TV and iTV (the global practice area for Agency.com), as well as BskyB.
