CMP Media's Network Computing announced this week their 2001 Well-Connected Award Finalist list. The winners of the Network Computing Well-Connected Awards will be revealed at a gala event to be held in Las Vegas on Monday, May 7th -- the evening prior to the opening of one of the industry's largest trade shows, NetWorld+Interop.

"No other annual awards program in the industry uses hand-on evaluations to choose its winners," said Fritz Nelson, Publisher of CMP's Network Computing. "Our editors worked at length to research and test the best offerings in the enterprise arena. Being named a Well-Connected Award Finalist is a true reflection of product quality rather than merely product popularity or marketing effectiveness."

The 2001 Well-Connected Award Finalists and Winners will be highlighted in the May 14th issue of the publication, and also on Network Computing Online at http://www.networkcomputing.com/. Results will be posted as the evening of the awards ceremony unfolds. Shortly after the ceremony, streaming video of the event will also be available on the Web site.
