Gavin, for more than forty years known as The Most Trusted Name In Radio, today confirmed the line up for its ninth annual Gavin Summit, held in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. The event brings together the brightest minds among Triple A (Album Adult Alternative) station programmers, record company executives, and of course, fantastic artists. The event takes place Wednesday, August 15, 2001 through Saturday, August 18, 2001.

The 2001 Summit will be held at the newly remodeled Millennium Hotel against the spectacular backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The new Millennium Hotel still has a few rooms available at the Gavin discounted rate, but they're going fast. To make a reservation, call 303-443-3850 and be sure to mention Gavin.

If you haven't registered for the 2001 Gavin Summit, you can register onsite after finding out more details at http://www.gavin.com/.

"It's great to have artists of the stature of David Byrne, Suzanne Vega, the Cranberries, Cowboy Junkies, and Lucinda Williams performing at the Summit," says Gavin chief executive officer David Dalton. "But perhaps even more exciting is trying to work out who among the emerging artists can really break out of the pack. In the past, Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Vertical Horizon, Train, Shelby Lynne, David Gray, and the Wallflowers have made The Gavin Summit an early staging post in their stellar careers. This year, will it be Chris Whitley, Rufus Wainwright or Leona Naess, for instance, or perhaps Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts featuring Russell Crowe? That's all part of The Gavin Summit buzz."

  Among this year's highlights:

On Wednesday, August 15, there's an e-town performance at the
Boulder Theatre featuring Silvertone recording artist Buddy Guy at
6:30 p.m. Then, Hollywood recording artist Leroy, Vanguard recording
artists Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise at 8:15 p.m. at the
        famous Fox Theatre.

That's just the first night. Gavin is pleased to announce performances from:

Leona Naess, Matthew Jay, Cowboy Junkies, Cousteau, Grant-Lee
Phillips, Ryan Adams, The Cranberries, Llama, Rufus Wainwright, John
