Data Communications Publisher to Moderate Interoperability Panel at SUPERCOMM '99

Joseph Braue, the publisher of Data Communications magazine, will moderate a panel on interoperability and standards for the next-generation switched infrastructure at SUPERCOMM '99 (http://www.supercomm99.com/). The panel is the first step toward creating a truly open forum dedicated to delivering products that work together to support enhanced IP services like VPNs and voice over IP.

"The new public network is too important to global business to let interoperability issues slow down its development," said Mr. Braue. "This panel will give some of the key vendors and carriers involved in building the new IP infrastructure a chance to discuss their differences and begin to work together in a noncompetitive environment."

Joining Joseph Braue as co-host will be Hilary Mine, executive vice president of Probe Research, a consultancy that specializes in the strategic analysis of the IP-telecom industry.
