The eBusiness Conference and Expo (http://www.ebusinessexpo.com/), June 12-14, 2001 at the San Jose Convention Center, has announced a new conference theme and educational tracks. Entitled "The Realist's Guide to Integration & Innovation," the eBusiness Conference program will focus on infrastructure, customers, execution and real life case studies.

"Based on input from our attendees and editorial advisors we have designed an educational program that is relevant in today's business climate," said Paul O'Reilly, general manager of eBusiness Conference and Expo. "The business mantra is back-to-basics -- where improved customer communication and relationships, sound infrastructure, and the ability to execute flawlessly and quickly are imperative."

Launching the track on Infrastructure: Building a Foundation for Long-Term E-business Success, is Erik Brynjolfsson, co-director of MIT's Center for eBusiness. This seminar will be followed on Tuesday, June 12th, by his lecture on "E-business Transformation: The Principles for Success." Other actionable sessions in the Infrastructure track include: "New Advances in Supply Chain and Partner Management"; "Choosing the Right E-Services Providers"; and "The E-Business Guide to Today's Capital Markets and Tomorrow's."

The track on Customers: The Heart of Your Business includes compelling panels and lectures that dig deep into practical customer relationship challenges. Topics that will be presented include: "e-Learning: Underpinnings for the Flexible Company"; "How to Really Sell in the Age of E-Business"; "Integrating CRM and Customer Systems"; and "Marketing Risks and Opportunities: Personalization, Permission and Privacy."

Execution: What it Really Takes to Get the Job Done will delve into the "nitty-gritty" of every stage of the E-Business lifecycle. Sessions in this track include: "Development Tools and Techniques for Next-Generation Mobile and Wireless Applications"; "Peer-to-Peer: The Next Internet Paradigm or Just a Fad?," "Content Management: Harnessing Digital Assets for Competitive Advantage," and "Securing Enterprise Infrastructure."

The final track focuses on Real Life Case Studies and offers exclusive panels on hard lessons pioneers have learned about E-business transformation. Topics include: "Exponential Content Growth and Your Storage Architecture"; and "Wireless Financial Transactions."

Preceding the eBusiness Conference program will be two in-depth tutorial workshops on Monday June 11th. "XML: Applying the Glue that Integrates Today's E-business Applications"; and "Wireless: Overcoming The Real-World Challenges of Mobile Application Development," will be presented.
