The Tech Marketing 360 Campaign of the Year program recognizes the recent accomplishments of ultra-creative marketing teams present at the event. From a pool of submissions and nominations, the Tech Marketing 360 General Manager and advisory board chose Intuit's Small Business Big Game campaign by Intuit QuickBooks based on its messaging, cause and level of exposure.

To empower small business owners, the Small Business Big Game program received tens of thousands of submissions and awarded one small business an all expenses-paid commercial that aired during the third quarter of the Super Bowl. After shortlisting the finalists, Intuit collected millions of votes to name the grand-prize winner, GoldieBlox –an innovative toy company inspiring girls to push the limits and think creatively through storytelling and basic engineering concepts.

"Although so many impressive campaigns came across our desks, we were blown away by Intuit's cause marketing approach," said Tech Marketing 360 General Manager Gayle Wolski. "Intuit nurtured a six-month campaign and budgeted more than $25 million dollars in rewards. But this wasn't for their benefit alone—they shared the stories of promising small businesses, and ultimately sponsored one company's 30 seconds of fame. They directed attention to so many other companies along the way, helping fellow marketers gain exposure."

"We are honored to be recognized by Tech Marketing 360 and awarded its Campaign of the Year for Small Business Big Game," said Ken Wach, vice president of marketing, Intuit Small Business Group. "Our goal for this program was to give small businesses a voice and recognize their contributions. Having industry experts validate our efforts is truly rewarding."

Intuit received a customized Tech Marketing 360 surfboard with proceeds donated to event beneficiary, Surfers Healing. Based locally in San Juan Capistrano, CA, Surfers Healing aims to enhance the lives of children with special needs through surfing lessons. Donations can be made via their website.
