UBM DeusM, UBM Electronics and NXP Semiconductors have partnered to create an online community devoted to inspire and empower users of microcontrollers and showcase their successes. The community-based website consists of blogs, message boards, live chats, whitepapers and other educational resources to help readers address the joys and challenges of microcontroller-based design. Microcontroller Central allows embedded engineers to celebrate success stories, discuss design experiments and create an environment for change.
- UBM Electronics' EE Times & EBN Top 25 Distributors advertorial won gold in the "Special Advertorial Section" category. The advertorial, which has been produced for 40 years, focuses on the Top 25 Distributors in the global electronics industry. The report ranks component distributors by sales and itemizes their service offerings, including design, subassembly, kitting, vendor managed inventory and other supply chain management activities as appropriate for each company. The primary goal of the report is to identify the financial performance of the top global distributors over the past 12 months. Additionally, the report highlighted the evolving industry; it helped readers understand the operating conditions of their own customers; a chart showcasing a snap shot of each company; as well as a list of the non-franchise distributors and the changes from the past year.
- UBM Electronics' Drive for Innovation won gold in the "Total Integrated Program and Most Creative Use of New Technology" category.
