In addition to the virtual career fairs Milicruit hosts for veterans throughout the year, Milicruit will now add military spouse focused evens to be held at least two times per year. The inaugural event represent over 5,000 jobs that are available from the following employers:  Veterans Affairs-Vet Success, Citi, Verizon, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Tobyhanna Army Depot, FedEx Services, Rockwell Collins, Progressive, Waste Management, U.S. Secret Service, PepsiCo, Walgreens, U.S. Department of Treasury,  FedEx Office, Amazon, ACS Xerox, Military to Medicine, Graybar and CB Richard Ellis.

"Military spouses deserve equal recognition of their dedication and service to our country," said Kevin O'Brien VP, UBM Studios.  "It's great to see so many industry leading employers who recognize the qualities and value that veterans and military spouses bring to an organization.  We are proud to work with these employers to bring employment opportunities to military spouses all over the country."

The virtual career fair will provide an opportunity for military spouses to meet with military-friendly employers. Military spouses who attend the virtual career fair can build a profile including resume and picture; walk the exhibit hall; visit employer booths; chat with recruiters; view and apply for jobs, all from the comfort and convenience of home.

"Spouses of the men and women who are currently deployed have to be very conscious of the household budget, and with food, utilities and gas prices nearing record highs, the Milicruit environment provides them a great way to meet and interact with employers without having to endure the travel costs typically associated with attending a brick and mortar career fair," added O'Brien.

The Military Spouse Appreciation Day Virtual Career Fair is free of charge for all spouses to attend.  Military spouses can register for the virtual career fair at www.militaryspousecf.com.
