Everything Channel Announces Speakers for XChange Government Integrator '09, Discussions to Focus on the Federal Stimulus and How the Obama Administration Will Drive Channel Opportunities

  --  Andrew Bartels, vice president and principal analyst of Forrester
      Research, Inc. will present "Fiscal Stimulus Programs Present
      Opportunity, Not a Gold Mine."  US governments face enormous
      challenges, which differ for the federal sector and for state and
      local government. Federal agencies have new near-term mandates to
      spend money to stimulate the economy and address challenges in
      healthcare, energy and education, but in the long run they need to
      live with scarcity, while state and local governments face near term
      scarcity as the recession shrinks tax revenues, but long run growth.
      Both sectors will need technology to meet these challenges. For now
      the focus is on the stimulus program that will funnel $30 billion or
      more to technology vendors; however, the bigger opportunity for
      technology vendors will come from the ability to leverage a new
      generation of technology to design and build solutions to meet the
      needs of government agencies. This presentation will review the
      outlook for the government market from a technology vendor perspective
      in 2009 and 2010, as well as for the longer run of 2010-2016.

  --  Jill Aitoro, senior reporter of Government Executive and Nextgov.com
      will present "Recession? What Recession?  How Obama's 'Open and
      Transparent Government' Will Drive Channel Opportunities."  The Obama
      Administration plans to issue a directive to federal agencies that
      will outline the steps they must take for "Transparency and Open
      Government." Scores of people applauded the plan, just as they
      wondered what "transparency" and "open" actually means.  In this
      presentation Aitoro make sense of the new administration's policies,
      explaining where technology fits and how channel companies can best
      position themselves to enable federal agencies to use, in the words of
      the President, "innovative tools, methods and systems to cooperate
      among themselves, across all levels of government, and with nonprofit
      organizations, businesses and individuals in the privates sector."

      a panel discussion on "Leading Vendors."  The panel will discuss

      entitled "A CIO's Perspective on the Changing Government IT Landscape
