CRN Test Center Ultimate PC Awards

CRN, a property of CMP Media LLC, announced today that it would announce the winners of the CRN Ultimate PC Awards at a special luncheon on December 3 during the CMP Tech Builder XChange Conference in Miami. The Tech Builder XChange Conference brings together executives and leaders in the Solution Provider community.

The CRN Ultimate PC event, sponsored by Everdream and AMD, is a unique event consisting of an awards luncheon and a live demonstration where the Product and Technology Review Department of CRN, the Test Center, will build the "Ultimate PC" to see how far limits can be pushed with today's technology, by selecting best-of-breed components. Throughout the year, the Director of CRN Labs, John Yacono and his lab crew review, select, and test, the most cutting-edge technology available on the market to create the Ultimate PC. The end result is a PC that uses the most innovative, feature-rich and reliable products manufactured by today's top vendors.

Heather Clancy, Editor/Strategy of CRN, and CRN Director of Labs, John Yacono will present awards during a sit-down lunch to the companies whose components were used in the building of the Ultimate PC. Lunch will be followed by a one-hour demonstration where Mr. Yacono will build the Ultimate PC in front of a live audience. Later that day, attendees will be able to visit the CRN Test Center booth, get a personal look at the Ultimate PC and ask questions about it.
