Oracle Chairman and CEO Larry Ellison and Marc Andreessen, Senior Vice President, Technology, Netscape Communications, have agreed to participate in the CMP/CommunicationsWeek Fourth Annual Networked Economy Conference, March 18-19 at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va. The two industry leaders join a host of notables gathering to discuss the future of computing and communications technology; regulatory policies; and the economy.

The Networked Economy Conference is the premier event for business and technology executives. The conference gives attendees the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the industry. More importantly, it also provides technology evolution and investment insights that attendees can apply strategically and tactically in their own enterprises.

Ellison and Andreessen join a marquee group of speakers, including: Eric Benhamou, Chairman of 3Com.; Steve Case, Chairman of America Online; John Chambers, President and Chief Executive of Cisco; David House, Chairman, President and Chief Executive of Bay Networks; Dan Lynch, Chairman of CyberCash; Jim Manzi, President and CEO of Industry.Net; Rich McGinn, President and Chief Operating Officer of Lucent Technologies; Patrick Naughton, Chief Technology Officer of Starwave; Ray Ozzie, President of Iris Associates; Roel Pieper, Vice Chairman and CEO of Tandem Computers; and Don Tapscott, author of The Digital Economy.

CMP/CommunicationsWeek launched the Networked Economy Conference in Washington, DC, in September 1991.
