Software development industry leaders will showcase their latest cutting-edge tools, technologies and solutions at CMP Media's SD Best Practices Conference & Expo, a four-day event, running September 26th - 29th at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. It automatically recognizes open source and other third party software in code. protexIP identifies licensing issues and conflicts early in the development cycle, making it easy for development and legal teams to understand and correct issues.

-- CollabNet will be introducing CollabNet Enterprise Edition, a solution for distributed software development. It integrates tools for software development, project management, knowledge management and communication management in a Web-based software environment. Version 4.0 introduces the Application Lifecycle Manager.

-- FarPoint Technologies will be showcasing Luna Chart for .NET. Luna is a robust charting package that can be used stand alone or fully integrated inside of Spread. It includes gradients, alpha blending, transparencies and a set of design time wizards.

-- OpenLogic, Inc. will present BlueGlue 3.2. It automates the reliable installation, configuration, integration, test and ongoing management of certified and supported stacks built from customer-specified combinations of over 120 leading Open Source projects.

-- QSM Associates, Inc. will be demonstrating the newest release of the SLIM estimating tools, featuring intuitive Solution Wizards and seamless outputs to all major office packages for easy presentation.

-- Telelogic, Inc. will be showcasing Telelogic Focal Point. It helps teams focus on the features that provide maximum customer value in relation to cost.
