CMP Names Leslie Jeffery Associate Publisher, Computer Retail Week

CMP's Computer Retail Week has promoted National Sales Manager Leslie Jeffery to Associate Publisher, a position in which she will run the newspaper's day-to-day business and its sales development programs.

"As National Sales Manager she clearly demonstrated the leadership, drive and visionary abilities an Associate Publisher's position demands. Jeffery, who holds the record as CMP's top sales performer, has been an integral part of CMP's Channel Group for almost a decade. Prior to her position as National Sales Manager for Computer Retail Week, a title she has held since May 1996, she was Western Region Sales Manager. Jeffery began her career with CMP in 1988 as a District Manager for Computer Reseller News. Other positions she held at Computer Reseller News include Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing and Special Project Sales.

In addition to her career sales record, Jeffery achieved the distinction of being the only two-time winner of Computer Reseller News's Salesperson of the Year Award.

In her new position, Jeffery will report to Newman.
