Websight, an Internet magazine, has named Scott Bourne, founder and executive director of First-TV in its list of the 100 most influential people on the World Wide Web.

For the second year in a row, Bourne was recognized in the magazine for his involvement in implementing streaming audio and video technology.

The Websight 100 list appears in the magazine's April edition. The electronic version of the magazine is available on the World Wide Web at http://www.websight.com/.

Bourne was named on the list last year for his role as founder of NetRadio, pioneering the use of streaming audio and original programming on the 24-hour, Internet-only radio network.

In a partnership formed last April, Bourne joined CMP Media Inc., to build First-TV (http://www.first-tv.com/). First-TV was launched Sept. 18, 1996 with its flagship program -- Fresh Click: Life Online. The program is comprised of seven segments covering Internet news, product reviews and Internet personalities. Segments include Web Wars, a debate between two Internet experts over issues of the day, and Web Women, a look at what women are doing on the web.

Besides producing original content, First-TV is a forum for emerging videographers and filmmakers, who can submit their work at no charge. First-TV gives the film community a world-wide audience, and visitors to the site can view the films and videos and rate them.

Also on the Websight list are Jim Barksdale, CEO of Netscape Communications Corp., Jerry Yang and David Filo, co-founders of Yahoo!, Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft.
