CMP Media Acquires European Business Press; Electronics Express Strengthens CMP's Electronics PortfolioPRNewswire CMP Media Inc. announced today that it has acquired European Business Press (EBP), a Brussels-based publisher of pan-European technical publications, whose flagship title Electronics Express reaches over 50,000 electronics professionals in Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and other west European countries. Electronics Express, a monthly tabloid, was launched in March 1998 and has had a remarkable growth track, from 48 pages in issue 1 to the present issue being distributed at Electronica in Munich next week with 124 pages. Effective immediately, the CMP Electronics Group in the U.S. will take over sales representation for Express in the U.S. All of the existing employees will join CMP and the group's excellent sales representation network throughout Europe is being retained.
