CMP Media's InternetWeek's increase in circulation from 215,000 to 275,000, a 28% jump, is effective with the December 4, 2000 issue. With this substantive circulation increase, ad rates will change just 10% for a full page black/white ad. The resulting 13% decreased CPM to $134 makes InternetWeek the most cost-effective way to reach the most important IT and corporate buyers of e-business products and services.

With an increase from 27% Corporate Management on the June 2000 BPA to 30% for the 275,000 subscribers*, InternetWeek will have more powerful buyers than ever before. Average dollar spending per subscriber will increase from $28.5 million to $30 million for 275,000 subscribers, according to the December Publisher's Data Statement. This is a 129% increase in what spending was as recently as a year and a half ago, when average dollar spending per subscriber was at $13.1 million.

"Building out e-business and Internet-enabled supply chains impact more and more people within a company, resulting in more IT and corporate management involvement in the e-business buying process today than ever before," said Patricia Schnaidt, Publisher of InternetWeek. "This growing market, coupled with surging demand to provide these Transformation Agents with the Internet/IT focused information they rely on to do their jobs, provided the opportunity for InternetWeek to satisfy our readers' needs through a circulation increase." The increase in circulation to 275,000 additionally enables InternetWeek to deliver advertisers greater access to those industry leaders who buy the products that are transforming their businesses.
