The plan, including the creation of two new teams, key hires and heavy investment, will focus on providing online, print and event audiences world class customer experiences. The BTG Audience Development Department, known in most other publishing companies, as "circulation," will now provide integrated support across all of the media platforms offered by the BTG as a part of its 360-degree media system. Newly tapped to lead this team is Michael Zane, formerly Group Circulation Director for all of Ziff Davis' controlled IT titles. Adding to the backbone of strong Audience Development Directors, Scott Popowitz, also formerly from Ziff Davis, will come on board to focus on InformationWeek.
